Nursery
We provide a loving, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment for infants beginning at 8 weeks until the infant begins crawling. Our nursery is thoughtfully designed to provide a safe and comforting space while encouraging each baby’s individual growth and development.
Our playroom offers a variety of age-appropriate activities and equipment, including tummy-time mats, Sit-Me-Ups, jumpers, sensory activities, and other engaging toys that encourage movement, exploration, and developmental milestones.
Our secondary nursery room provides a peaceful environment for rest and relaxation. It is equipped with cribs and soothing music to help create a calm atmosphere where our littlest ones can rest comfortably.
Faith is an important part of every day at MFWBCD—even for our youngest children! Our infants are introduced to Bible stories, Bible songs, prayer, and the love of Jesus each day. Through music, simple stories, and loving interactions with their teachers, we begin building a foundation of faith from the very beginning.
We also believe communication between parents and teachers is essential. Through the Brightwheel app, parents receive updates throughout the day, including feedings, diaper changes, naps, activities, and other important information. Brightwheel allows our families to stay connected and gives parents a glimpse into their baby’s day while they are in our care.
At MFWBCD, our goal is to provide more than childcare. We strive to create a place where every baby is loved, nurtured, encouraged, and surrounded by the love of Jesus each and every day.
Crawler Class
Crawlers Classroom is designed specifically for babies approximately 9–12 months old as they enter one of the most exciting stages of early development. During these months, babies are becoming increasingly mobile, curious, social, and independent.
Our classroom is divided into two dedicated areas to provide the right balance of active learning and peaceful rest.
One half of the classroom is our play and development area, where babies have plenty of safe floor space to crawl, explore, sit, pull up, and practice new physical skills. Teachers provide age-appropriate toys and activities that encourage reaching, grasping, transferring objects between hands, problem-solving, sensory exploration, and early communication.
A major focus in our Crawlers Classroom is gross-motor development and preparing for those exciting first steps. Teachers provide safe opportunities for babies to strengthen their legs, practice pulling themselves to a standing position, balance with support, and begin cruising along appropriate surfaces. We encourage each child at his or her own developmental pace without rushing milestones.
Between 9 and 12 months, babies experience tremendous developmental growth. Many are learning to sit independently, become more mobile, respond to their names, imitate sounds and gestures, play interactive games such as peek-a-boo and pat-a-cake, pick up smaller objects with increasing control, pull themselves to stand, and eventually begin cruising while holding onto furniture.

Our goal in the Crawlers Classroom is to provide a safe, loving, Christ-centered environment where babies have the freedom and encouragement to explore, grow, develop new skills, and gain the confidence they need as they prepare to take their first steps.
Ones Class
New Walkers Classroom is designed for children 12–18 months old. This exciting stage focuses on helping children become confident walkers while encouraging independence, communication, exploration, and social development.
Our classroom provides a safe environment where children can practice standing, walking, climbing, and other gross-motor skills. During this stage, children may begin walking independently, following simple directions, pointing to communicate, saying and imitating words, stacking blocks, feeding themselves, identifying familiar objects, and engaging in simple pretend play. Every child develops at their own pace, and our teachers provide encouragement along the way.
This classroom also marks the beginning of our ABC Jesus Loves Me Curriculum and a more structured daily learning schedule. Children are introduced to colors, shapes, early counting, vocabulary, sensory activities, fine-motor skills, music, and movement through short, age-appropriate lessons.
Our Christian faith is incorporated throughout the day with daily Bible stories, Bible songs, prayer, and simple lessons about Jesus and His love.
Children begin following a consistent classroom routine that includes morning learning time, curriculum and Bible time, music and movement, meals and snacks, gross-motor play, nap, and afternoon activities. These routines help prepare children for the more structured classrooms ahead.

Our goal is to help each child become a confident walker, curious learner, growing communicator, and increasingly independent toddler—all while surrounded by the love of Jesus.
Twos Class
Our Two-Year-Old Classroom focuses on building independence, communication, social skills, and a love for learning in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment.
At this age, children are developing quickly! Our teachers encourage age-appropriate goals such as using words and short phrases to communicate, following simple directions, sharing and taking turns, improving fine and gross-motor skills, feeding themselves, and becoming more independent with everyday tasks.
Our ABC Jesus Loves Me Curriculum provides a fun and structured learning experience each week. Children are introduced to letters, numbers, colors, shapes, Bible stories, Bible verses, Bible songs, poems, nursery rhymes, and a Book of the Week. Hands-on activities, sensory play, crafts, music, and movement reinforce what they are learning.
Our Christian faith is incorporated throughout each day through Bible stories, songs, prayer, scripture, and lessons about Jesus and His love.
This classroom is where we begin potty training. To actively potty train, children must be able to communicate to their teacher when they need to use the potty. While potty training, pull-ups with Velcro sides are required to allow teachers to assist with quick and sanitary changes throughout the day.
Children follow a consistent daily schedule that includes learning and curriculum time, Bible time, music and movement, meals and snacks, outdoor/gross-motor play, potty breaks, nap, and afternoon activities.

Our goal is to help each two-year-old become a confident, independent, kind, and curious learner while building a strong foundation of faith and a love for Jesus.
Threes Class
Our Three-Year-Old Program focuses on building independence, communication, social-emotional skills, early academics, and kindergarten-readiness foundations in a loving, Christ-centered environment.
At this age, children work toward age-appropriate goals such as speaking in sentences, following multi-step directions, recognizing colors and shapes, beginning letter and number recognition, counting, strengthening pencil and scissor skills, sharing and taking turns, participating in group activities, and completing simple tasks more independently.
Our ABC Jesus Loves Me Curriculum introduces children to letters, numbers, colors, shapes, Bible stories, Bible verses, Bible songs, poems, nursery rhymes, and a Book of the Week. Children learn through structured lessons, crafts, sensory activities, music, movement, and hands-on play. Bible stories, songs, prayer, and learning about Jesus are an important part of every day.
We offer both a Potty-Training Three-Year-Old Classroom and a Potty-Trained Three-Year-Old Classroom. This allows children to learn in an environment that best supports their current level of independence and development.
Our Potty-Trained Three-Year-Old Classroom follows a more structured daily schedule that closely resembles our Pre-K classroom. Children participate in longer learning periods, group instruction, independent activities, and classroom routines that help prepare them for the expectations of Pre-K.

Our goal is for each three-year-old to grow into a confident, independent, kind, and enthusiastic learner while developing academically, socially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
Pre K Class
Our Pre-K Classroom is designed to prepare children for a successful transition into Kindergarten. We focus on academic readiness, independence, communication, social-emotional development, and building confidence in a structured, Christ-centered learning environment.
Our Pre-K students work toward age-appropriate goals such as recognizing and writing letters and their names, identifying letter sounds, counting and number recognition, colors and shapes, following multi-step directions, developing proper pencil and scissor skills, participating in group instruction, problem-solving, and completing age-appropriate tasks independently. We also emphasize sharing, taking turns, expressing emotions appropriately, and developing positive classroom behaviors.
Our ABC Jesus Loves Me Curriculum includes letters, numbers, colors, shapes, Bible stories, Bible verses, Bible songs, poems, nursery rhymes, and a Book of the Week. Hands-on activities, crafts, science, sensory learning, music, and movement help make learning engaging and fun.
In addition to ABC Jesus Loves Me, our Pre-K students use the Heggerty curriculum to introduce and strengthen phonemic awareness and early literacy skills. Students practice skills such as rhyming, identifying and working with sounds in words, and developing the listening skills needed to build a strong foundation for reading.
Our Christian faith remains at the heart of our classroom through daily Bible stories, scripture, Bible songs, prayer, and lessons about Jesus and His love.
Pre-K follows our most structured classroom schedule, with dedicated times for morning work, curriculum lessons, Bible time, Heggerty, small and whole-group learning, music and movement, meals and snacks, outdoor play, rest, and afternoon activities.
